Australian Aviation, Australia’s largest selling and most authoritative aviation magazine is reporting that show organizers with the Avalon Airshow say the event will host the F-22 Raptor Demo in 2015. The Avalon Airshow is scheduled to be held Feb 27th through March 1st, 2015. The theme will pay tribute to Anzac and the heroes of military aviation.
The F-22 Raptor Demo Team has performed at Avalon in the past, most recently in 2013. The team, based at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA shows off the capabilities of the USAF’s most advanced fighter jet, the F-22 Raptor, in a tactical demonstration. Capt. John “Taboo” Cummings is the 2015 F-22 Demo Pilot.
The F-22 Raptor Demo Team schedule should be released by ACC in early 2015.
