I see that Charleston AFB on April 28, is the first scheduled after the Safety Stand Down. Has there been any changes to this show here? Is it still on? We hope

Charleston is still on, and the Thunderbirds have not canceled, but they may still do so. Even if they do, the show will go on.

How do you go about getting in to the airshow? Do you have to order tickets or can you just show up? I have never been to one and would love to go to the one at the Little Rock AFB.

There will be concession stands … buses to give you a ride to the flightline from where you park. Usually a fly in from World War II planes to modern fighters and bombers. last time there was a parachute drop by the 82nd Airborne. Bring chairs .. best kind are metal folding with cup holders … the kind you see at kids soccer games.

The last time I saw the Thunderbirds was some twenty years ago. Someone had the dumb idea to play obnoxious music over the loud speakers during the air show. I came to see and hear the Thunderbirds… not a rock concert! Haven’t been back to an airshow since. Do they still ruin the airshows with asinine music?

I have a great seat for the May 23rd. Show in Colorado Springs. Have them buzzzz the tower Crane’s east of the airfield. That would be cool with me!

The Gates will be open and the Air Show is open to the Public … it will be a two day event and the T-Birdds usually put on a show for disabled and handicapped on Friday, with main show on Sat ,, Sun. I’ve been to the Little Rock AFB T-Birds shows and the blue Angels there

No Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL or are they flying with the Red Tails in September at Maxwell?

I volunteered for 6 years in Atlantic City, NJ. This was the first year NO one from the AC Chamber sent me forms to be a part of this great event.. AC Chamber has lost their hospitality services.

Their show in usually free…being it is in the air..hard to block folks from seeing it… and Air Nation puts it on and makes money from concessions
