Live near Paducah Ky. Seen Thunderbirds at Scott AFB last year! The closest you’ve been in a while! Rarely if ever are you within a close drive to Paducah and the folks there would certainly appreciate a good show. Wish some how someone would arrange for one near there. Barkley Air Port. Paducah riverfront! Kentucky Dam ! Somewhere close to there! Even Fort Campbell wouldn’t be too bad!!

Looking for an Air Force Thundersbirds air show at Hickam AFB in 2020 so an Air Force Pilot Training class can schedule a 1967 class reunion in Hawaii. When will someone know if the Thunderbirds will be in Hawaii for an airshow in 2020? Would like to coordinate and plan this for the Pilot Training Class.

The team will release a preliminary 2020 schedule in the first week of December 2018. Stay tuned and we’ll have it as soon as it’s available!

Will there be an air show in California? I moved to Travis AFB area this year and was hoping to see the spectacular show.

I have a group interested in attending the air show on May 12, 2019 at JD Andrews Air Force Base, JB Andrews, MD. Do I need to check with anyone in order to get clearance for the group to come. The group would be coming by motor coach. The group would be from Lancaster, PA with a pickup in Hagerstown, MD. Thanks for your help in this matter.

    • RyanS

You will want to contact the base directly once the event is closer. Andrews uses shuttle buses so your group would have to be dropped off at the security checkpoint.

I love the Airshows since my early days in the United States Army overseas in Germany 1974, wishing they would have an Airshow every year at McGuire AF Base in New Jersey.

It’s fascinating how much they put into demo-ing at very anti-military, anti-American population centers. Ironic indeed.

  8. Jess Bowers

Are civilians allowed to go to the shows on base? I am interested in the Biloxi show!

  9. Michael Duncan

Stop with the civilian crap. We want noise. Start with the wild weasels then bring a couple F-14’s out of retirement. then F-18 super hornets, then a few F-22 raptors, then bring some serious noise. Four F-15 eagles for about an hour. Cap it off with a thundering demo with our F-35. MAGA!

My dad worked on different planes & jets at Reese A.F.B. in Lubbock Tx and he took me to see a lot
of different planes he work on and also took me to lots of Open Houses over the years. I saw the Blue
Angels & The USAF Thunderbirds I even took my oldest nephew to a Air Show. I would like to see them
again but the closest place to see the USAF Thunderbirds is Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls and I saw
they r going to be there October 26.27 2019. How can I get some tickets to go there at the show. Please
help me out. I miss going to them.. Thanks

    • RyanS

It’s too far out for information from the show yet, but being on a military base it will be free for general admission – no tickets required. Do a Google search for it in 6 months and you should be able to find options for VIP tickets if you want those. In the mean time, just plan to be there!

I am a retired military member and wondering why the Thunderbirds did not perform in the San Antonio Tx area in 2018 nor are they scheduled for 2019. Just wondering since this area has several military bases with a large military community. My military brothers and sisters have enjoyed the air shows in the pass and we definitely know the turnout is phenomenal in this area. Please take the politics out and return the air show to this area!

  12. Barry Storms

I’d like to see the air show return back to Scott AFB, Illinois in 2019.

Please notify us when we can buy tickets for the Kirtland Air Show, we are excited and want to bring our grandson.
