Chris, when did you stop doing the website?
Good question! I had to go back into my archive emails to find out. 2015 was my last year. I stopped volunteering when I was asked to do things outside of what I signed up for (like answering phones during the Airshow).

Great find. Brings back fond memories of when I did the Airshow website (note the inclusion of bases the aircraft were from ;) )

Re: 2024 Abbotsford International Airshow

sadly, they now seem obsessed with bringing in too many civilian acts which, let's face it, very few attendees watch and mostly use as a washroom break. There are three civilian acts booked this year (so far), last year there were three and the year before four. That constitutes being "obsesse...

Re: 2007 Australian International Airshow

This post includes some highlights from the first day of the public airshow which included a night show. The F-111 flew twice, during the afternoon flying program and again at night. Seeing the "dump and burn" in person was one of my all-time airshow highlights.

2007 Australian International Airshow

Going way back in the archives, today marks 17 years to the day that I attended the Australian International Airshow. March 22 (Thursday) was an industry day and also included some arrivals for the airshow the following days. Here are some highlights from that day.
