I have only been there once and it is on the south side so the sun angle is good. Some of the performances are not in front of you as they use one of the two open runways as a marker. Here is what I can offer from my recollection.

I have not heard anything. In past years, I have seen the heavies come in on Thursday.

No idea. I recall one year, they parked me in a treelined grass area. I was so disoriented, I didn't know which way the show was. Then, I walked at least a mile to the security checkpoint. Hopefully they have a better parking plan so that early arrivers get the closest spots.

I was not really watching them at the time but I think it was a normal formation routine.
