Re: Thunder Over Michigan 2021

With my understanding, here is a tentative list of aircraft that I put together: Performers: - USAF Thunderbirds - USAF F-35 Lightning II Demo Team - USAF Heritage Flight (F-35A and Warbird TBD) - USN EA-18 Growler Demo Team - USN Legacy Flight (EA-18G and F4U-4 Corsair) - Luftwaffe A400M Atlas - S...

Re: Airshow Bucket Lists

I don't have many shows on my bucket list but I'd really like to make it to Oshkosh and RIAT. I finally made it to an airshow after about a 20-year hiatus in 2019 so I've been looking for shows that have the most bang for the buck as far as travel and lineup, especially now that I have a camera. Th...

Re: 2021 U.S Navy Demonstration Teams Schedule

Now to come to the thought of VFA-122, attempting to recall the last time I witnessed them was back in 2011 at Miramar, since the demo team has returned for whatever factors that brought them back in session, I have some high hopes they'll back at Miramar this year, in the past records, they logged ...

Re: What's The Future Like For The RAF Red Arrows

Wow, pretty shocking to hear that the Red Arrows would have been cut if not for sponsorship deals worth "under a million pounds". That's not even all that much! Enjoy jet teams while they last, I guess. Yes, it's a strange sum which doesn't really seem to add up because, as you say, it's ...

Re: Airshow Bucket Lists

A show may pursue a team but it all comes down to scheduling and the "spreading of wealth" in addition to logistics. The ACC Schedulers try to cover all four corners of the country as much as possible when scheduling and they do a great job at it. So it's entirely plausible that they coul...

Re: Thunder Over Michigan 2021

I've could've thought of that, but TOM might be able to secure a Military Demo and possibly U.S Air Force Thunderbirds if they could, but since the economy is starting to crash, I think because of this I'm starting to lose hope for seeing the best performers at my personal favorite airshows they ma...

Re: Flying Legends Airshow 2021

Travel restrictions are due to be eased as early as the 15th of May and some military deployments are exempt anyway. RIAT was the real reason the A-10 was due to visit the UK, Flying Legends was just a small side-show at which it would probably have performed a Heritage Flight only. No RIAT = no US...

Re: Flying Legends Airshow 2021

Just found out from ACC, ultimately it appears that A-10 Demo Team will not be at Sywell Aerodome this year, probably due to the fact that travel restrictions are still in place in GB and the likelihood they'll still be in effect over the summer, in which I heard that England is not doing to well ri...

Re: 2021 Cocoa Beach Airshow

USAF A-10 Demo Team will be joining the line-up! :D https://www.airshowstuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&p=20635#p20635 Defining the factors that the A-10 Demo Team will now support Cocoa Beach, and TOL is currently in aerobatic box category 3, likely means the F-22 Raptor Demo Team will withd...
