Re: JBSA's "The Great Texas Air Show" 2024

Does anyone know the reason why we don't see the B-1, B-52, F-18 Rhino, and other performers not on the show schedule vs what they posted on the performers tab? Is it because they changed venues (AFB)? Or are they are still finalizing the schedule and they may appear later once confirmed? Looking f...

Re: JBSA's "The Great Texas Air Show" 2024

Does anyone have experience photographing the JBSA Great Texas Airshow? How's the lighting? Where would be a place to photograph from on the flight line? Appreciate any help. Thank you. Lighting isn’t optimal. I work with Tora so my shots won’t be the best representation of it as I shoot from the p...

Re: Thunder Over Louisville 2024

What side is will be the best for lighting? Im trying to get some good light shots of the Bone. Entirely depends on time of day and the angle you want. If light is the deciding factor, KY side has better light for most of the day (if it's clear). However, you will only get belly shots as the aircra...

Re: 2024 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show

Found on Facebook, this will be Hubie Tolson's final air show. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid025BrsPtTYBJdEs7iVSWpuyzwKFA8odazNHqBbA9mdGR37E3uUEYZkuvxeJfhgkXmml&id=100043650176758 That’s actually quite sad. I’m glad he came to Oshkosh last year. That radial Su-31 was a nice c...

Re: 2024 SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo

I posed that question on their Facebook post. intrigued as well. Does the museum have one that they might be towing out? Preliminary military static list posted by SNF. Not sure where they are going to get a CH-46 from - does DOS still operate them? A-10 Thunderbolt II BQM-167 Skeeter C-130 Hercule...

Re: 2024 New Orleans Air Show

So are the F-18’s all gone and replaced by F-5’s now? And think I saw somewhere else that the F-15’s are going to be deployed overseas at the time of the air show? Yes hornets are gone. Only F-5s. I haven’t heard on the 15s. A lot of light information out of New Orleans so far being 2 months from it.
