Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2022

Started slowly but finished with a ROAR! NTM22 was fantastic. Amazing that even with 8 special liveries, the highlight of the day was the Phantom arrival at the end of the second wave. Lots more on my insta and websites in the coming days.

Re: Thunder Over Michigan 2022

Please remember that the Yankee Air Museum uses the gate receipts from Thunder to fly their incredible collection. The idea that people are profiting off the higher cost is unfair. The shutdowns of the last two years have been very difficult and their 80 year old airplanes fly regularly and therefor...

Re: Red Flags in 2022

LOL of course when I finally go it's the smallest one ever. God damnit. Oh well, wheels up tonight and even if the spotting is no good I've got some national parks in the plans as well! You'll enjoy it Ryan. There's also the added bonus of the large weapons school launch at Golden hour after the fl...

Re: Red Flags in 2022

Finished a couple days at the world's smallest flag. Always great to be at Nellis and with good friends but photography was challenging due to limited participants and weather. B-1s did not fly Monday or Wednesday. Shaw Vipers are in town but not part of flag. There is a little bit of colour from 2 ...

Re: Luke Days Air and Space Expo 2022 [CANCELLED]

For those that will be in Phoenix that weekend and now have nothing to photograph, look into Phoenix Mesa Airport (KIWA). They seem to get a lot of military transient traffic on weekends and have some decent spotting locations.

And as Ryan mentioned, Pima is definitely worth the visit.

Re: Red Flags in 2022

The aircraft type coming from Luke is F-16, not F-35.
