Re: Air Force Thunderbirds Photography

Just found this board yesterday, my first post here. Some shots from the Gulf Coast Salute April 2015 at Tyndall AFB, Florida. I live in Panama City, so it's not to hard to justify trudging the 15 miles or so to the show. It rained on and off the whole day on Saturday, many of the performers were u...

Thanks
There's always a flyover from each side but I don't think the weather will allow it today, at least from what I've heard

This is only talking about the Navy, we'll have to see what the other branches say This was already the case last year for the Navy (as evidenced by London's static line). So that announcement doesn't necessary indicate any changes for this year for the other branches. However, the blog seems to in...

Re: ACC Aerial Events 2018 Schedules

I'm assuming the F-35 schedule will be released later since there hasn't been an announcement. Probably needs some final approvals yet. Maybe that will be the ACC Demo for Oshkosh ... I have a hard time believing that they wouldn't send something, especially given the popularity of Heritage Flights...

Navy Legacy Flights to Return in 2018? Plus more!

According to the US Navy forum at ICAS this week, Tailhook Legacy Flights seem to be coming back in 2018! Here is what I posted to our blog last night: https://airshowstuff.com/v4/2017/us-navy-forum-teases-return-of-legacy-flights-in-2018-and-more/ The jet team/military demo schedules are the highli...

Evansville reached out to tell us that they successfully moved the Harrier demo to their correct dates of June 29-July 1. I have updated the first post to reflect this!

Re: Airshow London 2018

It really sucks no snowbirds are coming this year but maybe they can get another big name. It would be nice to see the Blue Angels. Maybe the C-5 can make it this year for a static display. Who knows...the Blues do have a gap that weekend. Would be nice. Sean I wouldn't get your hopes too high, the...
