Re: RAF Typhoon Display Team 2021

And here are the first photos of the aircraft in flight. https://twitter.com/UKAirshowReview/status/1398245624693338114 Tail: nice, I genuinely really like it Underside: could be a bit Marmite, but certainly very striking Topside: EURGH PLEASE MAKE IT GO AWAY Ill-fitting triangular stickers that loo...

Re: RAF Typhoon Display Team 2021

The government and armed forces do seem to have got themselves into the habit of plastering our flag all over any inanimate object that comes to hand at the moment! I count ten partial union flags on that jet. We're lucky it's a fairly nice flag, I guess. Anyway, a very nice surprise after the team ...

The C-130 did a recce yesterday, doing some very steep topsides down to around 100ft. This is going to be amazing!

Re: Midlands Air Festival 2021

As per instructions from the local authority, all visitors to the Midlands Air Festival will be required to present evidence of a negative coronavirus test upon entry. This can take the form of a self-adminstered Lateral Flow Test, which can be ordered free of charge from the UK government website, ...

A whole slew of special tail schemes to mark the team's 60th anniversary! Each tail is in the colours of a different historic Italian Air Force aerobatic team.

Re: IWM Duxford Airshows and Flying Events 2021

I thoroughly enjoyed today's Flying Day - it far exceeded expectations. It's a shame that the weather scuppered Friday's activities entirely, and the first few acts today displayed under a blanket of thick, moderately low cloud, but conditions brightened a little towards the end, with the sun breaki...

Re: RAF Red Arrows 2021

There are more events to be added (or removed) from the list as they confirm whether they can go ahead. Across the UK and Europe, there is still a lot of uncertainty on just what shows will look like. There are also some private events around the G7 Summit in June that are likely to be on the Reds ...

Re: RAF Red Arrows 2021

Don't forget RAF Cosford on the 11th-12th September! I'm interested whether they intend to fill some of these gaps when the virus situation becomes clearer. The Midlands Air Fest, for example, said the team can't attend on the 6th due to "operational commitments". There's plenty of events ...
