COVID and the 2021 season
Last year I was in the early stages of planning a trip to England, with RIAT and RNIAD being the top of my list of To Do items. We know how that ended... So now that RIAT has just been cancelled for this year, I'm wondering how many other shows will get spiked this year. With the Canada/USA border c...

Re: Airshow London 2020 (Now "Sky Drive" Presented by ASL)
https://www.avweb.com/aviation-news/canadian-air-show-goes-with-drive-in-format/ The USAF Thunderbirds will do a full airshow performance in September but only Canadians will get to see it. Ditto the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team, the F-22 Raptor demo team and C-17 demo team. The London (O...

Re: Point Mugu Air Show 2020
I have my doubts about this show. They don't have a dedicated website, even the most basic of sites. They do have a FB page, as part of the base FB page, but the airshow part doesn't seem to be monitored. https://www.facebook.com/NavalBaseVenturaCounty/photos/a.395578757135444/3418110878215535/ As M...

Re: Airshow Bucket Lists
I've completely given up on 2020, so my Bucket List is for 2021 and beyond. I started this year with plans to see RIAT and the RN show at Yeovilton in July. When that got torpedoed, I thought a road trip to CA to see MCAS Miramar, Point Mugu, and Edwards AFB over 3 consecutive weekends would be a bi...
