The show made the official announcement of the cancellation on its Facebook page yesterday.

The Warbirds in Review schedule is traditionally announced around this time. That will give us more of an idea on what specific featured warbirds to expect. Hopefully we'll know more in the next couple weeks. From what I've heard, Dakota Territory Air Museum should be sending a good selection of air...

I've been hoping to sneak something else in before Oshkosh. This show moving to a traditional format and the additions might sway me into going. It would be a three hour drive and I still have mixed feelings even with the Super Hornet demo and Legacy Flight, but another addition might seal the deal.

I'm assuming the static displays will be available from the time the parking gates open until a set time to help expedite the arrival/departure process, as well as allow the aircraft that are on static display to fly. That just means we're going to have to be there right when the parking gates open ...

Can't wait for Saturday! Lineup looks awesome and I'm glad to see the Hellcat is still slated to attend. Looks like a 40 percent chance of showers, which isn't bad, I just hope the ceiling is high enough for some flying.
