Royal Saudi Air Force's Saudi Hawks 2021 European Tour

Post by n33d4sp33d_85 » Mon Jul 05, 2021 8:21 pm

Saudi Hawks are coming back to Europe!
We are happy that despite the COVID uncertainty the Saudi Hawks decided to visit Europe once again as part of their 2021 European Airshow Tour. The team of 8 Hawks (7 display aircraft and 1 spare), as well as 3 C-130H Hercules support aircraft, will visit a number of European countries throughout August and September displaying at some of Europes biggest airshows.
The Saudi Hawks is the official aerobatic team of the Royal Saudi Air Force flying seven BAE Hawk Mk.65A Jet Trainers in attractive green-white colour schemes. The team is based at King Faisal Air Base in Tabuk and since its creation in 1998 the Saudi Hawks visited Europe on several occasions displaying in countries such as the UK, Greece, Czechia, Malta, Italy, Austria and Poland.
The Saudi Hawks last visited Europe in 2019 to take part in the Lotos Gdynia Aerobaltic Airshow in Poland and that's where they will begin their European Tour this year. With the RAF Red Arrows and the Finnish Midnight Hawks already announced for Gdynia, this will be a fantastic opportunity to see 3 different aerobatic teams flying the Hawk jets at the same airshow. After displaying in Poland the team will then fly to Hungary to take part in Europes biggest Air Show this year the Kecskemét International Airshow. From Hungary, the team will then fly to Greece where it will perform at the Athens Flying week the last airshow of their European tour. More events might still be added to the tour.
