Holy crap this announcement!

TWO B-52s performing fly-bys on Saturday, and 1 on Sunday!
Big Bomber Announcement!

Not just one but TWO B-52 Bombers will appear in the skies over London at #SKYDRIVE.

On Saturday, September 12th, fans will see two B-52s in the air at the same time! Sunday, September 13th, we will see a single B52.

These U.S Air Force aircraft will fly up each day from 343rd Bomb Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana as a show of support to our essential workers.

Will the aircraft be based at Selfridge or will they be based in London? I hope they will be at Selfridge so I can hang out there and watch the Thunderbirds, F22, etc. fly out.

I'm sure the goal is to base everything at London (except the B-52's) but probably the show organizers are the only ones who can answer that question at this point.

On a side not the RCAF needs to step it up and commit some resources to this show (Cf-18's hint hint) unless they already have and the show hasn't released that info yet.

You mean "Strat-urday", right?

Man, I've been going to London's show since 1981. Every year there's a show, I'm there. I've seen firsts, lasts and onlys (like the one and only time for the B-2), but I've never seen TWO Buffs in the air at once!

This is primo stuff. Hell, this is getting to be one of the best shows we've seen, like, ever! (Two Buffs is like 4 Phantoms in 1988!!)

Congrats to ASL, let's hope it all works out! I know I've got my Saturday Red Zone ticket! :)

Oh, as for the RCAF, yeah... we need them to step up, I agree. I'll be happy with F-35s and F-15s and A-10s though. Just saying...

Since we can sit in the cars, if it's raining, is it still a go, by the way?

Decided to do a little research on the weather if lucky AIrshow London on both Saturday Spetember the 12th & 13th will just be cloudy.

I would take that with a grain of salt, especially for our region. Anything beyond tomorrow afternoon is luck of the draw. While that forecast is hopeful, the usual ten-day forecast has a low probability of accuracy in the later stages. Anything beyond that is literally models throwing darts at a board.
