It will be interesting to see what this shake up will do to the show. I assume it's to improve logistics, marketing, media and how they are treated etc. No issues with the product in terms of aircraft and what not ;)
The show will still be the great show we all have come to know and love, this a minor change that will make sure show is stable for future years. Have faith in the air ops team and the operations team that we will delivery a great show again.
FYI performer announcement coming in today at noon!

2 new performers announced! The Erickson Aircraft Collection is bringing the FW-190 and the ME-109!

As far as warbirds go, these are a pretty rare sight at shows. Well done!

That German duo is doing a great leg this year! I hope nothing breaks and they can make it to all the shows 8-)

Looks like photo pit tickets are on sale. An interesting note (I think this is new this year), they have one day photo pit tickets for Thursday arrival day. Considering how active Thursdays are (as long as the weather isn't like last year), there is good oppurtunities to catch static/performer arrivals!

I had a feeling they would be doing an extended tour. Has there been anything else announced? I am guessing TOM is on their list.

hmm.. and Michigan is the weekend before Cleveland...with London being the weekend after. That is a good hunk of time to be on the eastern side of the Continent.

If there's any part of the show I have faith in, it's Air Ops! I wasn't doubting anything in that aspect but certainly hoping for an improved fan experience.

If you're going to go all that way, might as well make it worth while!

The WOTN event is the weekend before Oshkosh, so I expect them to make an appearance there as well.

You didn't hear it from me but there are a few shows these guys are touring during that block of time. TOM PERHAPS is on that list.
