I'm hoping to drive over for a couple hours Saturday. The "Parade of Wacos" sounds cool and biplanes on grass are always fun.

Spent a nice day here Saturday. Unfortunately, I do not think the "Parade of WACOs" took place - or at least, it didn't during the five hours I was there. Still got to see six of dozen WACOs that showed up in the air, and there were plenty of other interesting arrivals including numerous other vintage aircraft. The Grimes Flying Lab C-45 also made an appearance with a few fly-bys, but it did not land. The museum posted that they had 55 aircraft on Saturday.

If you have an interest in vintage aircraft, I'd recommend checking this out sometime. It was a nice opportunity to see some vintage aircraft and check out the WACO Museum at an event that is well supported by the community. Fly-ins can still be a great way to enjoy aviation depending on where your interests lie.

I'll hopefully have some pics to share tonight or in the coming days.
