Indeed, come check it out for yourself, lots of warbirds from various museums like Palm Spirngs, Lyon, Pima, and sometimes the SoCal Wing from Camarillo, there's also the "Vertan's Pannel" where times before the airshow and during intermission, veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Desert Strom/Shield, and a few 9/11 fighter pilots basically discuss their experiences in general, but a lot are really interesting to hear, especially when comes to the WWII/Korean pilots, but almost every story is unique in general. It's definitely worth the time listening to them. One last thing you probably will notice is a band of 9 RV flyers that fly various Van's RV aircraft that conduct a couple of flybys before the show even starts, so a lot interesting things to see there for newcomers. (Also heard a good batch of DM people will be stopping by as well).

POF is at again with their humorous social media posts

In the past 12 months, have you had sudden aviation-related outbursts at the dinner table? Have you cried while watching airshow videos online? Do you dash outside to look up, every time a radial or V-12 powered airplane flies overhead? If you have any one of these symptoms, you might be suffering from LOA (lack of airshows), but stay strong because the 2021 airshow is coming!

Our annual tradition returns to Southern California – although a few months later than we’re all accustomed.

With Fall in the air, we’ll take to the skies – historic aircraft from our past will be joined by the technology of today. With a touch of magic and mystery that is Halloween, look forward to some special “tricks” by some of the best aerobatic acts in the business as well as plenty of “treats” as warbirds flock to Chino Airport for the Planes of Fame Airshow.

We’re pulling together what we believe will be one of our best shows ever and you won’t want to miss it! Mark your calendars now and plan on being here in the Fall!

For updates on the Airshow as it comes together, you can follow us on Instagram, on Facebook or sign up on our website to receive our Newsletter.

In the months ahead, we will be providing information on showtime, directions, parking, accomodations, airport restrictions, safety and security and more, so stay tuned!

POF will be reopening their hangars this weekend, also with the recent transition to "Red Tier" apart of the California Blueprint to normalcy, Red Tier permits some indoor businesses to reopen with modifications, but with that being said, until Halloween weekend (the annual Airshow), Planes of Fame officially stated they will start back up the previous "Live Demonstrations", in which case had to shut down again over the time due to the small winter surge back in December. the next "Live Demonstration" will be Saturday 3rd of April, 2021 and it will be featuring the North American P-51D Mustang 'Dolly'. Flying Demonstration starts at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) followed by a short presentation at 11:45 P.M.
Live Demo Flying Day - North American P-51D "Mustang"

Saturday, April 3, 2021 - 11:45 am

Here's a great opportunity to see a World War II fighter aircraft up-close and watch it fly! The short presentation begins outside at 11:45 am, followed by an engine start and taxi at 12:00pm. The P-51 will fly over the Museum for twenty minutes.

Doors to the Museum open at 10:00 am. Please check our new pricing.

Guests are required to wear face coverings and maintain physical distance to help stop the spread of Covid-19. See you Saturday, April 3!
