I will say, given the current covid situation, that I have very little faith that this show will happen. But, one thing they could explore, since all of the parking area is on the airfield, is a drive-in format. They would have to refund tickets either way, so maybe not ideal for them.

There is a new announcement on the website. The show is offering free general admission tickets. Due to COVID concerns, they are limiting the number of general admission tickets to 30,000. If you buy any premium seating ticket, you do not need a general admission ticket.

But if you do not have a premium seating ticket, A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET IS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY. Also, a mask is required.

30,000 seems like a small crowd for an air show, so if you intend to go, get your tickets soon before they run out. In any case, it looks like they do not intend to cancel.

Edit: please read the terms and conditions for the purchase protection agreement; they’re pretty funny

Got my ticket today before sell out. I’ve been to this show twice and certainly recommend it to anyone around the southeastern United States!

I concur. Took a chance on it in 2015 and been back every show since. Idk how, but I get in and out of the parking area in just a few minutes. They manage the traffic very well.

Another update: the F/A-18C has been added to performers. It looks like this will be separate from MAGTF, but it’s unclear. Idk how long MCAS Beaufort plans to operate their Hornets for, but this may be some kind of send-off?

Haha that's what I was thinking when I heard the news. 'Wait, but they just said they were offering tickets!'

Sounds like a command decision
