PARKING TIPS FOR THE WEEKEND (PROS/CONS):

If you haven’t purchased your parking yet for this weekend here are some tips for you to decide on where you might like to park as well as some Pros/Cons for each lot.

GREEN LOT (accessible from Stebner Road). This is our primary general admission parking lot and where approximately 85% of our spectators park.

PROS: Cheapest parking option.
CONS: Arrival times into the lot can be between 15-20 minutes during heavy arrival times. Departure times after the show can be between 60-90 minutes as everyone is trying to leave at the same time so you need to be patient!
PRO TIP: Don’t leave when the flying ends. Stick around and check out the statics and other aircraft and plan to walk to the Green Lot between 5:30-6:00. Why wait in your car and get frustrated when you can relax on a ramp full of aircraft to yourself?

TEAL SHUTTLE LOT (accessible from Rice Lake Road). This is our shuttle lot and is one of the best ways to bypass the heavy traffic from the Green Lot.
PROS: You bypass the traffic on Highway 53 and Stebner Road! Wait times are minimal getting into the lot and boarding the shuttle to the Duluth Airshow!
CONS: The Shuttle Drops you off inside the Green Lot so there is still a 3 block walk to the main gate. The line-up in the shuttle area at the conclusion of the Duluth Airshow can take up to 30-45 minutes (which is better than the green lot wait times) as everyone is trying to leave at the same time so you need to be patient!
PRO TIP: Don’t leave when the flying ends. Stick around and check out the statics and other aircraft and plan to walk to the Shuttle between 5:15-5:30. Why wait in your car and get frustrated when you can relax on a ramp full of aircraft to yourself?

BLUE DISABLED LOT (accessible from Cirrus Drive). This is our onsite dedicated ADA Parking Area. These tickets are not allowed to be purchased in advance and must be purchased on site as verification will be required that you have a valid State Issued Disabled/Handicapped Permit.
PROS: This lot has dedicated ADA shuttles that will take you directly to the secondary entrance gate!
CONS: Wait times to board the shuttle at the conclusion of the show can take up to 20-30 minutes depending on the flow of the Orange Lot as you both are using the same street to exit.
PRO TIP: Plan to either be at the ADA Shuttle location prior to last performance of the day or wait to head to the Shuttle location until 5:00 p.m.

The Duluth Airshow is proud to announce that our presenting partner Essentia Health will be hosting an on-site COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on both Saturday and Sunday at the show! Pfizer vaccines will be available for youth ages 12 to 17 and the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered for adults 18 years and older. Those interested in receiving a vaccine will need to compete registration and consent forms at the event. No appointment needed. See you at the show!
GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET HOLDERS:

With capacity restrictions now lifted, we are happy to once again offer flexibility to our General Admission Ticket Holders. Your General Admission Ticket can be used either Saturday OR Sunday (but only one day). If your ticket says Sunday it can still be used on Saturday and vice versa. If you pre-purchased parking those are day specific and non-transferable so you will need to purchase a new parking ticket if you decide to go on a different day.

Flightline and Presidential Chalet tickets are date specific, as are ALL parking tickets.
HELICOPTER RIDES
Want to score a helicopter ride at the show this weekend? Make sure to pre-book your ride now so you have a guaranteed seat and time for this weekend with our friends from LAKE SUPERIOR HELICOPTERS
