Remember that hosting a team at Oshkosh means a totally different arrangement for the aerobatic box. I doubt they would be able/willing to implement such a change just over a month before the show.

Add to that the COVID restrictions on the Canadian side, and I really don't see it happening.

It’ll be more than just the theatre in the woods program. I’m sure they will have plenty of aircraft from that era as well. I could see a B-52 attending in some way

Perhaps. I am sure there will be F-15's, 16s, A-10''s, etc. This is just what I read in the event schedule. A rountable actually.

Good points Ryan. And hopefully soon enough we will have all the details. The AFSOC will be awesome though.

Military aircraft participation announced!
June 24, 2021 – Oshkosh will play host to a powerful collection of U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy military aircraft this summer during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021, scheduled for July 26-August 1.

Aside from the Air Force Special Operations Command aircraft scheduled to attend AirVenture beginning on Thursday, July 29, a number of other miscellaneous military jets and helicopters will be traveling to Oshkosh to either fly in the daily air shows or to be placed on static display.

Among the aircraft you can expect to see in the air or on the ground this July:

A-10s performing close air support demonstrations during air show
F-16 Viper Demo Team performing during air show
Desert Storm 30th anniversary aircraft (F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle, F-16; Apache, Blackhawk, and Chinook helicopters) on static display
F/A-18E/F Super Hornets and E/A-18G Growlers on static display and performing in the Navy Legacy Flight
C-17 on static display
KC-135 on static display
Lockheed U-2 to perform flyover
Luftwaffe A400M on static display

It’ll be awesome seeing the U-2 again. Does that mean the super hornet demo is coming as well? Also hoping some f-22s and F-35s get added to the list.

Per Stallion 51, Lee Lauderback will be performing his signature, solo P-51 routine Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Interesting, I saw him at SnF this year but don't remember seeing him at Oshkosh ever
