My guess is it’ll either be announced tomorrow since Thursday is their usual news release day, or it’ll be announced during the features and attractions webinar on Tuesday.

Yeah, I'm thinking it will be announced in the webinar Tuesday and then posted next Thursday.Nate_Burrows wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 1:06 amMy guess is it’ll either be announced tomorrow since Thursday is their usual news release day, or it’ll be announced during the features and attractions webinar on Tuesday.
Lots of really good warbird rumors heating up too. Excited to see which new restorations make it!

Sounds like possibly four or more P-40s, possibly multiple Spitfires and possibly multiple Dauntlesses. Whether any of those will happen or not remains to be seen.
Kermit Weeks' A-26 is also apparently painted and has been taxying, so this might finally be the year we see it at Oshkosh. I wouldn't bet on that though.

I know Kermits A-26 is close, isn’t the CAF Sierra hotel squadron A-26 done as well?

The CAF Sierra Hotel A-26 has flown, but I don't know what its status is as far as airshow readiness.
The Dakota Territory Air Museum has also taken delivery of their Hurricane XII and I'm guessing that this is the aircraft that has been referred to in previous EAA releases about the warbird shows. We should also see the debut of DTAM's P-51D "Miss Kitty III." It sounds like they will also have Lope's Hope, the Spitfire IX and Betty's Dream on hand as well.
Should be a fun year for warbirds. It will be nice to have a P-38 at Oshkosh again and I'm really looking forward to seeing the Fagen Hellcat and Warbird Heritage Foundation FG-1D. A few P-40s will be great.
There are a few other newer restorations that haven't been to Oshkosh yet that I continue to hope for, such as the Air Heritage C-47 "Luck of the Irish," Steuart Walton's Bearcat and the Tri-State Warbird Museum Fw 190. I'm really hoping the CAF Southern California Wing will bring the PBJ on its way to Thunder but I haven't heard anything about that being a possibility.

I’ve been hoping Lewis air legends will bring glacier girl along with the wildcat as well. They usually send multiple aircraft when they come. And I’d love tri state to send the FW-190 and their P-40 along with themkalamazookid wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 11:55 pm The CAF Sierra Hotel A-26 has flown, but I don't know what its status is as far as airshow readiness.

Is Thursday always 'warbird day' at Oshkosh or does it change each year?
