They have also added a new wrinkle which I think will frustrate most hardcore fans: The show will be split into a morning session (featuring the F-35 demo) and an afternoon session (featuring the Thunderbirds). No word yet on any additional acts at each show, but I assume there will be some. Possibly the same aircraft that flew for the Friday Night Flights shows last year? That's just a guess.

There does not appear to be any 'combo' ticket for the full day, so likely everyone will be kicked out after the morning and then have to re-enter and re-park.

Hopefully they can clarify soon because members only have a 48 hour window (next week) to buy tickets before they go up to the normal price of $165-$185 per car.
Sounds like a cluster. Hopefully there is more clarity on what that means for those of us who rolled over our ticket purchases from last year. I'm certainly not paying $165-185 for each session. That's utterly ridiculous.

That sounds like a logistical nightmare of having to park 2 different sessions and getting the first one out before the second.Wonder what the goal is ?Sounds like an attempt at a cash grab to possibly make up for lower attendance?ASL was a great example from 2020 of how to work this, it was very well executed.

I'll be honest, I was so caught up in the drive-in news that I totally missed that the Thunderbirds are a new addition to the lineup!

Does this mean the theme Mitchell Madness is out the window now?

I would certainly assume so. A big part of the gathering is getting the aircraft together on the ground which won't be possible with no static displays. I suspect they are planning with a smaller budget as well.

Personally, I expect it will be whatever military support they can get plus local warbirds.

Bummer there’s one show cancelled for me already. Hoping Oshkosh doesn’t fall through as well.

Don't take my word as gospel; it's just a personal guess and I'm already hearing that the B-25s may still be in play. Unfortunately it will be a good long while before there is enough info available to make an informed decision on whether to buy tickets or not

Speaking about buying tickets, what about the 3 for $25 they did in November or December where it was 2 GA tickets and a Parking Pass, It would be a dumb idea not to accept those and make the folks attending this fork out more money and another question I've got is how will they take care of Photo Pit Tickets, would they just push those to the 2022 airshow or create a designated parking area for those who won/bought those?

Well.... the fact that there are two different shows everyday and the Price is over $160 for not even a full show smashes any hopes I had about this show. :x
