This is a very rare public appearance for that airframe. Nice work by the Thunder crew!

That and Semper Fi were the two on my "must see" list. But wasn't expecting either one to make it, but I guess I underestimated what the Thunder organizers could pull off!

Has Thunder figured out what warbird/warbirds they will receive for the Heritage Flights?

Also, the Texan II's are no longer on the schedule for either show.

Last I saw/heard for the USAF Heritage flight was a F-35 and a P-51. They wanted a 3rd bird to fill in the spot(Personally I'd take the A-10) but nothing else has been said. Now, for the USN legacy flight, I believe that's the F4U-4 Corsair and EA-18G. I could be wrong on either one tho.

Well, ML just announced last night Warbird Heritage Foundation's P-51D Mustang "Moonbeam McSWINE". Legacy Flight will be 2 Growlers and Scooter Yoak flying Korean War Hero.

Moonbeam as the HF plane. Mustang was chosen so it can fly with the B-17 escort; 4 Mustangs looks aesthetically pleasing. Stuart Milson at the stick. Possibly add the A-10 to the morning HF, but not vice versa.

Georgia Mae is on the grounds at OSH. Awesome to see that plane out and about!

B-25 list will be changing a little bit leading up to next weekend.
