We're having domain issues, but we'll get the website back up and running shortly.

Should be a good time in May with everything people have expected from the event.

It is encouraging to hear that they are still on track for May. Thanks for sharing that. This is one of the events I plan my summer and airshow season around.

Uh Sure, I just simply found out about the event, never heard of it, never been it. Nor anyone I know that has visited that event. quite interesting though of a TBM Avenger reunion, honestly never knew of that type of gathering/reunion. Is the purpose of it like an annual commemoration for veterans, or is it just a gathering similar to that TOM having this year except with no jets or aerobatic performers?

An event that has grown a lot since 2016. Last year, during COVID, Terre Haute said they could host it at Hoosier Aviation, but we couldn't end up doing that either.

It's basically a TBM Gathering & Warbird Fly-In. It features a veteran's parade and tons of warbirds during the day (including some rare ones). In 2019, an evening event was added that included Matt Younkin, a concert and a night TBM run-up. 2020 was to feature AeroShell Aerobatic Team.

Big meeting coming up on February 2nd and we hope to have the website back up soon. We're in between hosts right now, but it will be back on the original site of www.tbmreunion.org

Event is also free to the public thanks to the City of Peru and generous sponsors.

We have an announcement coming out on Facebook tomorrow at 8 AM Central (9 AM Eastern).

Don't worry, it's not a cancellation, but it's an announcement of some of the fun we'll be having, including a rare warbird that now calls the Midwest home. Plus, we'll announce the amount of confirmed Avengers lined up.

Check it out tomorrow morning: https://www.facebook.com/TBMAvengerAirShowPeruIL

Today's announcement, for those who don't do Facebook:
WE'RE BACK FOR 2021:
The TBM Avenger Reunion and Salute to Veterans airshow is back for 2021 at the Illinois Valley Regional Airport (KVYS) in Peru, Illinois!
Thanks to the City of Peru and our other generous sponsors, we will hold our annual airshow Friday night, May 14 and Saturday, May 15.
-Friday Night activities are 6:00 to 10:00 PM
-Saturday's event time is 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Warbirds will be arriving all week and departing on Sunday.
Friday night will feature a car show, beer garden, food, music, and the spectacular night airshow by the AeroShell Aerobatic Team.
Saturday's main event will feature many Warbirds including a B-25, F6F Hellcat, P-51 Mustang, Corsair, a gaggle of T6's, jets, a contingent of trainers from PT's to AT-6's, and, of course, as many TBM Avengers as can come. Right now we have 14 Avengers committed.
As usual there will likely be some additional surprises show up as well. The aircraft list is constantly evolving.
In addition to our airshow, we are proud to again feature our Salute to Veterans parade. We are planning a bigger and better parade this year and encourage all veterans to participate so that all can show their appreciation for your service to our country. We'll update this post with details as we formalize our plans in the coming weeks so stay tuned.
One of the most important elements for a successful airshow are the volunteers. We encourage all who can to volunteer and help us continue to make this one of the best airshows ever. We'll be holding periodic volunteer meetings in the coming months to dial in the details. As soon as we establish the schedule we'll post dates and times.
Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Tracy Baer, to volunteer. His contact info is below.

We look forward to seeing you at the TBM Avenger Reunion and Salute to Veterans on May 14 and 15.

Is there any additional information on the TBM Avengers and the other warbirds, specifically what Museum the warbirds from and whats their pin-up name or Registeration if you have confirmaination on that yet? (Ex: B-25 Mitchell ’Yankee Warrior’). Thanks if you can answer that.
