I was thinking about making a forum for this but was a little reluctant because I didn't know whether it consisted of flying aircraft or just static. I saw on the website that it would be on the ramb, but YAM doesn't normally have their show line or any crowds on the ramp unless it is for statics. I am not really sure though, couldn't find very many details about it anywhere.

I believe it is static only, but still a good event to spread the word about! I've never been but my June is pretty light this year so I may try to stop by.

Just come to thought, but will even rides be available at the event, (i.e Yankee Lady, Hairless Joe, etc..)?

And to answer that I just found this event on YAM’s website on their event page section, so I caught wind of that once I looked through June.

The Huey and Yankee Lady are selling flights for the day. No walk ups right now will be sold rather the seats should be purchased in advance.

This event is taking place on the West Ramp.

Small updates:

Safety Rules and Regulations Updated
The event will take place from the hours of 10-4.
A show is also being planned for that evening by YAM (separate from Wings and Wheels) that will feature a little something special which I am not at liberty to talk about just yet. It should be announced in the coming days.

If the show you are talking about is the June 12-13 airshow, the Snowbirds just released their updated schedule and it shows "June 12-13 Ypsilanti Mi".

Yes, correct. I was not given permission to spread the event to the public until they or the Snowbirds did. I made a new forum for it.

While I am not a 'car guy', this was a fantastic and well attended event. Dozens of classic cars mixed with a pair of Mitchells, a Sabre, a Bearcat, Hairless Joe and a gaggle of others made for a great first stop of the day. Hats off to Yankee Air Museum for running two events in the same day while their museum was also open.
