Good Afternoon #BlueAngels fans,
Today marked our first day of joint training with the Air Force Thunderbirds! We were able to provide backseat rides to a few of their pilots and let them experience the power of our F/A-18 Super Hornet and maneuvers firsthand.
Both teams are currently training over Naval Air Facility El Centro, preparing for the upcoming 2022 show season.

Do the Blue Angels only fly the Fat Albert Demo at Friday practices and on Saturdays now since going to their new C-130J model ??
They used to usually fly their Fat Albert C-130T Demo at both of their Saturday and Sunday shows and was wondering why they changed it??

I've been told that they plan to only fly it on Friday practice and the Saturday show from now on, one because it helps them load it up to depart home after the show and two because it saves stress on the airframe.
