Sure, it was certainly post-WWII, but it's a nearly even split between WWII and today... #OTD in 1984 that the first production Rockwell International B-1B Lancer made its first flight from Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, California. And if you look at the first flight of the prototype B-1, it was closer to WWII than it was to today! Do you know when the very first B-1 flew?
