Royal Thai Air Force To Acquire Six A135 Helicopters

Post by n33d4sp33d_85 » Sat Feb 15, 2020 7:00 pm

During the Singapore Airshow a contract was signed between the Royal Thai Air Force and Airbus for the acquisition of six A135 helicopters.

Although all military Thai services operate a wide variety of helicopter versions from Airbus, the H135 type was not yet one of them.

The helicopters will be used for ab-initio training and as the press release mentions the helicopters will complement the Air Force H225M fleet, so they might be operated by 203sq from Don Muang.

This will be the first time the Air Force will operate dedicated helicopter training type.
