"Just a nice Picture...!"

Famous Saudi photograpgher Mohamed bin Khalid / Fahad Rihan created a superb and an exclusive serie of air-to-air aviation photos. We love to share them at Scramble!

The first photo shows a Pakistan Air Force JF-17A Block II, an United Arab Emirates Air Force F-16E Block 60, a Royal Saudi Air Force F-15S, F-15C and Eurofighter Typhoon, a Kuwait Air Force F/A-18C and a Egyptian Air Force F-16D Block 40. The formation was set up during a Royal Saudi Air Force exercise that was set up with its allies. The picture was made over the Persian Gulf.

With the second picture, a Royal Bahrain Air Force F-5E and a RSAF F-15C joined the formation (while the Kuwaiti Hornet said goodbye) and the EAF F-16D was replaced by an F-16C.

The third picture, shows all the aforementioned aircraft added with a KAF F/A-18D, a RBAF F-5E, a JF-17 and a Saudi Typhoon.

Just some nice pictures

Mohamed bin Khalid shared some stunning pictures of Hawk Mk165 serial 2101 of 21 squadron of the Royal Saudi Air Force over Tabuk on his twitter pages.

The first flight of this particular Hawk was on 16 September 2015 at BAE Warton as Tarnish9. It performed a ferry shake flight on 23 March 2016, and left for delivery on 1 April 2016. The Hawk arrived at its destination on 6 April 2016.

Currently some 22 fuselage and wing sets built at BAE Warton are assembled in country for the second part of the order of a total of 44 Hawk Mk165s. This takes place at the Hawk In Kingdom Final Assembly (Hawk IKFA) line, established in the former Tornado Programme Depth Maintenance Upgrade (TPDMU) facility at Dhahran.

We would love to see some images of those Hawks.

29 May 2020 yield some nice photographic moments at RAF Lakenheath (UK)

Our contributor, Rich Sleight, provided Scramble Facebook News and Scramble Magazine some nice images of twelve departing Mountain Home Strike Eagles.Check the ones with the mission marks and the one with Gunfighters markings.

The Mountain Home jocks executed a fuel stop at Lakenheath on their way home from their Gulf Detachment. The first six departed from runway 06 at 14:00 hrs (local time), when the light was past it's best. Six others followed after those. The final six departed on the 30th.

Next to the MO-Strikers, Rich managed to picture the latest 48th Fighter Wing F-15E to receive the wing Commander's tail markings, serial number 96-0201.

Read more details about the MO-Eagles in our post of https://www.facebook.com/Scramblemagazi ... 6029368571

"Just a nice Picture...!”

The European Aviation Group reached out to us with these nice pictures from their two Airbus A340-600s 9H-EAL and 9H-NHS. Both planes are owned by EAG, but operated by Maleth-Aero from Malta.

They are used to fly personal protection equipment (PPE) from China to the UK for use by the National Health Service (NHS) in the battle of the COVID 19-virus.

The flights started on 28 April and since then they fly on average two times per week between the UK and China. To state the support of the NHS the planes have big NHS-titles applied to them.

"Just a nice Picture...!"

On 1 June 2020, an Elephant Walk occured at Aviano's 05 runway. More than thirty USAF AV coded F-16C/D Fighting Falcon aircraft lined up on the runway assisted by a few HH-60G Pave Hawks in the air.

After years of various deployments and exercises abroad, this event marked the first time since years that all the based 31st Fighter Wing units at Aviano (Italy) could be seen working together.

The readiness test represented Aviano's 510th Fighter Squadron "Buzzards", 555th Fighter Squadron "Triple Nickel" and the 56th Rescue Squadron. Also, albeit no aircraft assigned, the following units participated: the 57th Rescue Squadron, the 606th Air Control Squadron and the 31st Security Forces Squadron.
