I just went to my last show this past weekend! :P

Give me some time to catch up on other projects and life in general, and I will get things set up for 2018. There are still 6 weeks or so of airshows to go yet anyway!

Ok thanks! TOM was my last show I went to. Seems like 2018 shows are so far away but they will be here before we know!

I spent a few minutes tonight getting the 2018 sections online - everyone please feel encouraged to post info as it comes available! Hopefully we'll have even more shows represented than we did this year. The 2016/2017 sections will remain online and eventually get collected into an archive for older discussions.

I don’t know whether that Blue Angel drone team article is fiction or not since the F-47 has not yet flown or been officially acknowledged as a flying platform. The creditability is doubtful since the article also denegrated the current mainstay fleet deployed & long-term committed F-18 jet.

FYI, I seriously doubt aviation enthusiasts will go to watch such a ridiculous performance of a drone team for at least two good reasons:

1. A low level formation aerobatic team would be considered a high safety risk near a crowd with potential RF interference around; and
2. There would not be much interest to watch another unmanned RC event at an airshow! Ho-hum!

Not sure that this thread is the right place for this, but I will simply say:

"Published: April 1st, 2015"

I personally can't wait for the live fire demonstrations by the USAF single ship teams!
