Microsoft unveiled this early look at a new Flight Simulator program today, a total surprise! Here's to hoping they don't ruin it like they did with Flight...
One of the more intriguing surprises from E3 yesterday. Been hoping for a good flight sim to come to consoles (at least my console), but didn’t think anybody would actually invest in it. Hopefully the base aircraft selection is broad, because I doubt you could put simviation planes on your Xbox

Video showcasing the world with a teaser date of October 10
Three versions are offered with extra aircraft and airports. No warbirds or fast jets included at the start, but hopefully that gap will be filled by allowing FSX add-ons to be used.
I'm disappointed that TrackIR won't be supported (hopefully it will be soon) and very nervous to see what the multiplayer experience is like. If formation flying isn't doable, I'll be crushed.
Here are some funny screenshots I took of DC. Not holding anything against the team. They did an amazing job. I think it's cool that the game is able to generate the world in such accurate detail using real world map data and algorithms. As the map data is updated, the sim will continue to become more realistic.

Some screens. A friend has been working hard to get port overs to work. No planes can be shared out of respect to developers and also some are payware.

Imagine if you showed this footage to someone living in 1982. The face of disbelief in seeing something so masterfully crafted with sweat and tears. The sheer thoughts of the person living in 1982 that something as beautiful as this would exist in the future gives me goosebumps.
