3 Twin Turbine Concorde Airliners in Close Formation
This was something you would very rarely see, if ever ! Three magnificent large scale twin turbine powered Concordes. Built to perfection, featuring smoke and nose droop...and all flown expertly in close formation.

Seriously, this guy has zero respect for the laws of physics! Any other RC pilot understands the basic concepts of gravity and lift and turbulence etc and stays within them...but not Jase. He just ignores those limitations and puts his airframe through unreal torture...all for the appreciation of the crowd at Weston Park International Model Show. Breathtaking stuff !

Jase is flying an Extreme Flight R/C Slick 580 powered by a Desert Aircraft DA120.

Probably the fastest way to fly RC Limbo
Caught my good friend Pete down the flying field practicing for the upcoming Funfly competition at the BMFA Power Nationals. This is his own design inspired by what he has seen in previous years at the competition. And there was me thinking he would fly a circuit before going under the limbo each time ! Nope.

Twin turbine powered Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird scorches down the strip at Airliner Treffen. Flown to perfection by Matthias Blaß with his father Walter, the builder of this jet, assisting on the flight line.

Eastern Lockheed L-1011 Tristar Airliner with RC Tug\Tractor
This Lockheed L-1011 Tristar would have been perfect by itself but when his son used the RC tug/tractor to pull it out to the runway...and pull it back to the pits...

14 pilots put up their rides for a combined prop hang for a Show record! Even with their prop hanging skills this was no easy feat. Avoiding all the other RC aircraft was challenging and there was at least one near miss. Unfortunately there was one crash at the end. One adventurous pilot tries to fly through the ring of fire and catches his wing ending in total destruction of the model.

Probably the best demonstration I have seen of Gunter Zielke's unique and innovative electronic smoke system. This also shows off the G-force initiation of the smoke system as the pilot performs some high speed aerobatics.

Largest RC Avro Vulcan & Victor Bomber turbine jets fly together
Our annual treat at seeing Dave Johnson's huge Avro Vulcan, powered by four gas turbine engines, flown at RAF Cosford. This year flown in formation with the equally large Victor flown by his son, Andy.
