Red Flag 2020 - Nellis AFB
When does Red Flag 20-2 run? I heard it might be 3 weeks? Getting antsy and thinking about a last minute flight

I believe it began today and runs for two weeks through 20 Mar...unless something has changed.

Colour during an otherwise gloomy time.

Had the chance to catch some of the Spanish Typhoons stopping at Dover AFB for a layover, before crossing the pond home.

Awwww jealous! The German Typhoons stopped near Detroit but I had no idea so didn't catch them.

Confirmed dates for Red Flag 20-3 are June 17th thru July 1st. Fingers crossed that the COVID-19 pandemic won't be an issue by then.

That would have been a cool catch at Selfridge. They stopped at several different locations after departing Nellis. It appears at least one German fighter has just departed Selfridge. Guess they're still hanging around!

I thought it was very difficult to spot at Selfridge...brianmanig wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 2:29 pm That would have been a cool catch at Selfridge. Are there locations that can be used without being chased away?
Thanks

I don't know of any that are any good. I have gotten away with hanging out behind businesses during off-work times but haven't even tried in years. If anyone has one I'd LOVE to know.FlyRed wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 6:04 pmI thought it was very difficult to spot at Selfridge...brianmanig wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 2:29 pm That would have been a cool catch at Selfridge.
