Probably not. I've been to two recent airshows with both the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds and the performer roster was smaller because of the time needed for the two teams.

Oh Wow! I can't believe that they're going to do a Fire Scout demo! I've always wanted to see one of those flying!

My initial reaction to this was disappointment. But being realistic I couldn't see them sending up a P-3, after all they haven't in the last 20 years. E-2 would've been nice since they're the west coast base. However I am excited to see the MQ-8, that'll be very unique for the show. At this point I am excited for the schedule as I have always wanted to see the Blues and Tbirds at the same show since I was very young. I hope the static list grows quite a bit as the current lineup seems quite dreary for a Navy base show.

Any chance to see opposing solo performers from each team (Blue Angels and Thunderbirds) do something together?
Will there be an opportunity to capture a Blue Angel and a Thunderbird in the same photo?

Thanks,
St. P

If I understood your questions correctly, no and yes. Last year when both performed at Dover AFB they were parked next to each other.

No, they train separately so it'd be difficult to come up with some sort of coordinated act together.

Well they’re training together now like they have the last couple of years at El Centro.

Thats little over a week, The most they'd do is the Super Delta, but even then I heavily doubt it, I really woulden't get your hopes up for something like that.
