Thanks for that Sean. I'm quite familiar with the Dutch beauty as my dad used to work on them. My reason for posting was because of Ryan's photos of the flying schedule each day. It cracked me up how they kept changing which aircraft the Knights were using and the different designations they gave to them. Although inaccurate in that it wasn't even there, I see they tried to play it safe and use the -8 designation in lieu of the Army designation C-147A!ssims45 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 6:38 pmThe aircraft the Golden Knights flew at Cleveland is the Fokker C-31A Troopship (US designation). The original model designation at Fokker is F27 Friendship. Therefore I would guess the FA-27 designation on the schedule signifies Fokker Aircraft 27 which is equivalent to the C-31 designation the US uses.kstater94 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 12:06 pm Day 1
"GK DHC-8 Departs and Streamer Drop"
"FA-27 Recovery" ??

Beautiful in their own way! Thanks for sharing!goverbgsu wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 5:18 pm I've had the pleasure of serving in Operations for the Cleveland National Air Show since 2003. Certainly not a photographer, and generally too busy to take any pics, so I appreciate seeing all these wonderful shots. For what it's worth, my contribution is our Thursday arrivals at sunset, and rainy Sunday morning. Thanks for all the posts!
Thanks Ryan!! I've got quite a few more to post. Will put them up later.
