Morning show complete:

Awesome shots, especially the first one!

That was a good morning! There are some definite drawbacks to a drive-in, but those would have existed no matter what and they didn't diminish the experience. Some of the show felt a little rushed but they had a lot to pack into two and a half hours. Everything that was advertised as being part of the flying lineup flew and getting the A-10 as part of a three-ship Heritage Flight was a nice bonus! This was my first look at the full F-35 demo and the Blues in Super Hornets and I was very impressed. It was nice to finally catch the Atlas in the air too. Huge thanks to the Thunder crew for putting in the work and having the creativity to pull this off!

Hopefully the airport construction and pandemic situation will allow for a return to normal format next year. I plan to be there.

Does anyone know if the grassy area off Tyler Rd was open today? I may try to watch the show from that area on Sunday. Thanks in advance!

Say or think what you want, don't wanna hear it nor do I care, but I think this is one of the best airshows I've been to in a while. Acts were back to back, Weather cooperated with us for most of the day, especially the morning with all the vaping done by most of the acts. My only complaint is that there was a scissor lift to the immediate left of our view and that thing served no purpose, sound wasn't playing, just pure static sound during the entrie show, ruined a couple of my potentially good pictures but other than that, They did a wonderful job getting everything together and can't wait to go back tomorrow!
