Russian Knights to visit Hungary this year!

Hungarian Air Force reconfirmed that if the pandemic allows they plan to host the famous Kecskemét Airshow on the 28th and 29th of August 2021 and announced some of the countries which already showed interest in participating in this great event, among those is the United States with the Hungarian airshow debut of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II and the return of the Russian Air Force Russian Knights Aerobatic team! What aircraft would you like to see at this unique event?

Does anyone have any updates on this air show?

Hoping it will not cancel.

Yes, the show is still on. The website is repulonap2021.hu. It has a quite stunning line up and given how cheap Hungary is to visit, I'm now very strongly considering going. It seems the Russian Knights, however, are no longer expected to attend. Tickets will be available later this month and I believe there will be seperate registration for foreigners.

The flying display is slightly shorter than previous years (7 hours instead of 11 hours). It will run from 10:00-17:00 daily. In order of participation, it will feature:
Hungarian Air Force Capability Demonstration
Italian C-27 Spartan
Czech Mi-24 Hind
Czech W-3 Sokol
German H-145
Czech Mi-171
Italian T-346 Master
Mi-2
G-2 Galeb
Classic aircraft (L-159, L-39, L-29, C-104, Ae-45, C-11)
Wings of Storm (x4 PC-9M Swift)
Hungarian Air Force Total Capability Demonstration
Team Orlik (x6 PZL-130 Orlik)
Italian F-2000A Typhoon
Czech JAS-39C Gripen
Swedish Air Force Historic Flight Saab SK-60
Turkish Stars (x7 NF-5A/B Freedom Fighter)
Czech L-159 ALCA
Romanian MiG-21 LanceR
RAF Typhoon FGR.4
Embraer KC-390 and Super Tucano
Saudi Hawks (x7 Hawk Mk.65)
