Thanks Adam. Got lucky this week with weather, sort of. I would expect good weather here, but today's forecast called for overcast skies and possibly rain. Guess it was the same weather reporter that was in London (Ontario) last week that was calling for storms as we had favourable weather for most of the afternoon. Have fun at Air Legends, I'm sure it'll be great!

Saudi Hawks were fantastic. I enjoyed their routine more than the Patrouille, although both were excellent.

Another star was the new Greek Spitfire, a Mk IXc that only arrived in Greece in May.

The Tornado is becoming a very rare bird so it was a pleasure to see two at this show, especially this special jet from the Royal Saudi Air Force celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Saudi National Day and looking ahead to the 100th in 2030.

Keeping with the Saudi theme, their 7 Hawks taxi to Runway 28 before their show. The proximity to the Taxiway (and Runway) are fantastic at Tanagra. Apparently, basing the performers at the site of the show was a major reason the location was changed to Tanagra.

At the beginning of September I had the pleasure to attend the Athens Flying Week air show on behalf of Checksix - the military aviation online magazine. This was an amazing event, featuring a four hour block of military performances from all branches of the Hellenic Armed Forces and four other air forces. The weather cooperated and the scenery was beautiful. I look forward to many more trips to Greece in the future.
