Is there another CAF WarBird Tube episode for Oshkosh tomorrow? Thought I saw one for the 6th but I may have mistaken.

It’s more warbirds focused but if you’re interested you can register here.

Hello,

I have a quick question about final confirmation of aircraft. At the end of last week's webinar, it was asked if for example the F-22 will be here or any of the bombers would show up and such. Now I know everything can and will change for operational readiness but as a first timer for Oshkosh, do they do one final webinar or anything to confirm any of those loose ends to say as of right now this is attending and that regarding what they couldn't answer in the last one and also if they mention for the MAJCOM days if they say this is what will be here? Just for haha's I watched last years episode of the same webinar that will be tonight and it looks like some aircraft had been mentioned.

I believe this is just about it from EAA officially. There might be more you learn randomly from other places, but that's it.

My rule of thumb is that the aircraft is confirmed to be at the air show when its tires hit the runway, LOL. Generally Oshkosh has a pretty good record of things showing up that say they will be there, but even so you can probably expect 10-20% of what is listed not to show. Things like the demo teams will be there for sure unless something goes seriously wrong between now and then. Other planes from active units that are scheduled will have a higher percentage of not showing. With something like the U-2, with only a limited inventory of aircraft and aircrew all it takes is one part to break or someone to fail a health check and it won't be there. One thing about Oshkosh is that unless you are there every day from dawn until dusk at all points of the airfield don't expect to see everything.

During this year’s Features and Attractions webinar, the hosts announced that a 1989 Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29UB Fulcrum (N29UB) owned by JDI Holdings LLC. and Jared Issacman plans to attend EAA Oshkosh 2022.

This aircraft used to belong to Vulcan Aircraft Inc., Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum, and Paul Allen before being sold in November 2019.
