Had a wonderful time today at Andrews. All of the performers ranging from the USAF Thunderbirds to Rob Holland were spectacular. These are the following highlights from today's show.
1. Departure of Air Force One
2. B-1B Lancer 2-Ship Flyby
3. B-2 Spirit Flybys
4. WWII Bomber Flight [B-17 and B-25]
5. F-35A Lightning II Demo and USAF Heritage Flight
6. USAF Academy Wings of Blue Parachute Team
My fun weekend continues tomorrow as I'll be heading down for the airshow at NAS Oceana. Stay tuned for my videos from today's show at Andrews.

Did the B-1s do anything interesting or just straight and level?

It was just a straight and level two-ship flyby.

For the B-1 flyby they should have least made a couple of passes. They flew all the way here from Texas just to make one pass doesn't make any sense.
Very disappointed in that flyby. (In past airshows they did put a good display on). Just a few bright spots in the show, still not like it was in the past.

F-22 was on the hot ramp both days, but it never flew.
What was the plan? Heritage flight, but jet not ready?

Agree. What's the point flying all this way to make just one pass? The lighting condition was horrible during their flyby too.

I finally got my videos from last Saturday's show at Andrews uploaded onto my YouTube channel. Here's my highlights.
What’s interesting is how rare B-1B appearances are at air shows. I was lucky enough to witness two demos (Saturday and Sunday) at the JBLM Air and Warrior Expo in 2016. Even then, the entire demonstration consisted of three passes, one pass with the wings at their normal position, one high speed where the wings are swept back, and finally another high speed at a slight roll to a climb with aileron roll. Still one of the most memorable displays I’ve ever seen.
