Yeah, they posted on the bleacher rules sign that you were to remain seated during performances, but I guess
those guys in the top row didn't care during the last performance of the day with the Blue Angels!! Ha!! ;)

Great job with all the pics everyone!! Looking forward to seeing more pics and videos also! :D
Oceana had a great Miiltary Jet line-up this year and Skip Stewart and Matt Younkin's demos were AMAZING also!!
I agree, this was definitely the best Oceana show I've seen in awhile also and you couldn't have asked for better
weather the whole weekend in Virginia Beach also. The only bad thing I experienced was getting out of the parking
area on Sat. It was a nightmare due to the HUGE crowd and a few emergencies too apparently from what I heard.
Took me almost 2 hours to go from Oceana to my hotel in VA Beach and just made it back in time for the Beach Blast!
BTW, the Super Hornet Burner passes were good, but was hoping for more than 3 passes. It's too bad Matt Younkin
couldn't have performed his amazing night show too!!

"Squadron Mall" was pretty good this year and I just wish I had more money to spend there!! Ha!!
BTW, does anyone know if the F-35C Demo Team had a merchandise tent set up anywhere cause I couldn't find it ?
I found the Viper Demo Team's Swag Tent, but no one seemed to know if the F-35C Demo team were selling swag also?

I have never known the F-35C team to have or sell swag, so I don't think you missed out
I'm wrong, apparently they have stuff

Glad it was a good show, from all accounts it seems like one of the better years.

half the struggle with Oceana is the weather this time of year and it looked to be some of the best weather in maybe 20 years

Yeah, the F-35C Demo team sell stuff and they had a merchandise tent at the Jones Beach show earlier this year.
I was just hoping to get one of their Demo Team patches that they were ran out of at Jones Beach.

I bumped into one of the VFA-125 officers (wasnt sure if he was one of the pilots or a ground pounder) at the O-Club on Friday after they flew-in. I asked about them having swag and he said they didnt bring anything to Oceana for the show. I believe only the Viper team had swag since VFA-106 typically doesnt sell their demo swag. I ended up getting some Blue Angel senior enlisted swag (t-shirt and coins) from one of their Senior Chiefs at the Officers Club friday night from the trunk of his rental car though haha

I was in the bleachers Saturday, and thankfully they weren't enforcing the no standing rule. Even in the reserved area you could get away with it until the Blues performed, and even then it was selectively enforced when people sitting complained (can't blame them - it makes a lot more sense to discourage standing with the flat seats vs the tiered bleacher view).

The VFA-106 tent had both squadron-specific 106 swag as well as a Demo Team-specific section.

Hmmm i saw both of their tables but i must have missed the demo stuff. Looked like basic 106 shirts and such. Oh well. Next year! lol
