The Midlands Air Festival – A Platinum Jubilee Special, will return to the rolling parkland of Ragley Hall on Bank Holiday Thursday 2nd June – Saturday 4th June! Commemorating Her Majesty the Queen’s 70 year reign, the event will feature the very best of British.

Some early confirmations for the flying display:

Team Raven – Vans RV8 x 5
Tiger9 – de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth x 8/DH60G Moth Major
Turbulent Team – Druine D31 Turbulent x 4

The organanisers are expecting over 180 conventional hot air balloons, along with a very large line up of special shape balloons. This will make MAF 2022 one of the largest hot air balloon gatherings ever held in the UK. Additionally, they will host 35 model hot air balloons, which is, again, one of the largest gatherings of its kind. A total of five mass balloon launches are planned during the public days (Thurs PM, Fri AM, Fri PM, Sat AM, Sat PM) but there will be several non-public launches too.

Plane Sailing's PBY-5A Catalina will be returning

Bronco Demo Team added, And still two more great warbirds to come.

Peter Davies' Rotorsport Calidus autogyro added.

Rolls Royce Heritage Flight added with the Spifire Mk.XIX and P-51D "War Horse"
