Big change in the Heritage Flight. The F-22 Raptor will fly alongside an A-1 Skyraider.

Does anyone know when the B-52 is arriving? I heard most planes are coming in Wednesday, but I’d love to narrow down the time if possible. If not arrival, maybe departure?

Does anyone know what parking will be like, and if a military ID will allow for better parking on base?

No idea. I recall one year, they parked me in a treelined grass area. I was so disoriented, I didn't know which way the show was. Then, I walked at least a mile to the security checkpoint. Hopefully they have a better parking plan so that early arrivers get the closest spots.

I have not heard anything. In past years, I have seen the heavies come in on Thursday.

Unfortunately, SJ is in my experience one of the worst when it come to traffic and parking. It seems like it takes forever to get parked no matter when you get there. The base just isn't designed for massive events like this. And then, depending on where you park (usually a grass field on base), it can be a long hike to the display area. My advice is take the 70E bypass around Goldsboro and then back track up 70W business. You enter at the oak forest gate and park in the yellow zone, much closer to the display area (see attached image).
See the paragraph above for a better parking strategy.Sugar Bravo wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 10:44 pm No idea. I recall one year, they parked me in a treelined grass area. I'm not sure if there is any DoD parking or alternative access for people with IDs, but not to my knowledge.
