In all the years I lived near the base and in my youth, I've been to nearly all of the shows at McGuire. Missed the year they had the B-1 flying in the show and the year they had that British team due to unforeseen circumstances. But, in the years I was there, they had an amazing static display. I would expect everything that's based there, big jets down to the helicopters, most likely an F-16 from Atlantic City, C-5 from Dover, etc. If my memory doesn't fail me I think the last show also had an E-3, an E-8, and a P-3.Ericanstine wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 12:29 am Does anyone have a lineup for statics this year? A list would be greatly appreciated.

When you go on the base's official website there's a pair of pages that appear to be templates for the airshow:
https://www.jbmdl.jb.mil/Airshow-Information/
https://www.jbmdl.jb.mil/Home/2023-Powe ... pen-House/ (You've got to go digging to find this!)
There still isn't much out there and it's only two months away. I wouldn't be too worried. I'm certainly looking forward to it.
I will be honest, though. I've been around long enough to have seen some amazing shows at McGuire and some really boring and terrible ones (1995, 1996, and 2000 come to mind). I miss the McGuire shows of the late 70s through early 90s when their F-4s, F-105s, and C-141s were the stars and the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels were one of the other acts among a non-stop, military heavy lineup. It would be awesome to see McGuire revert back to the shows from my childhood and early adult years.
I know I said in a previous post the last is expected gone in early 2024. Seems like from what I read on Facebook the last KC-10 will leave the base sometime in June.
Finally... as it appears this is a David Schultz Airshows event, and they had Howdy McCann scheduled, I wonder who they'll have fill in for Howdy. They'll have some really giant shoes to fill.

You can't go wrong with McGuire.
80 miles from NYC.
Plenty of Team McGuire jets, including the new KC-46. (Have you seen the full electronic boom operator position?)
Always nice visitor statics.
NJ 177 FW F-16's.
Nice, long crowd line.
Traffic is the only negative.

Per Schultz Airshows on the event FB page, the C-17 Globemaster III East Coast Demo Team will be providing a display of the C-17.
