It's $40 for the day it includes parking and Muesum entry, daily basis cost entry runs up to $12. But yeah it's $40, if you have a membership with them, or previously/currently volunteered for the them, your admitted in free I believe I might be mistaken on the membership part, but previous volunteers get by in freely, they have to present their volunteer badge to prove that they worked for them.ZenKusa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 9:50 pmIs that $40 for parking? I heard that the museum costs about $15 to get in.Nick wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 7:40 amI gotcha you, yeah the Muesum is a solid place to be, the show is at times over your head, parallels something similar to the end of RWY 30 at El Centro. Another major pro of the museum the lighting is solid (No Blacklit, meaning full-side on light starring from 12PM and continues to improve all day). However, there's a very minor drawback that being it costs $40 per vehicle for the day, but it covers your stay day for the day, including museum entrance, it's a very solid option man, and still outweighs the cost, definitely worth it, however it's first come first serve basis, and the parking fills rapidly, meaning their limited on capacity.
Oh I recommend I have you and anyone else interested is for arrival day, which from what I heard is Thursday (As per the average Airshow arrival day) is supposedly to be the day for statics and performers, drive out to this dead end corner that connects Patterson Ave. & Nadina Ave. and watch all the good stuff arrive RWY 32, granted that unwinds, headwinds, and crosswinds will be in favor for RWY 32 of that day. You will need a ladder and you should not encounter further problems with base security, there is security based out of one the work places right next to the street, but there just there to keep you from hopping the fences, but overall it's really easy to spot there too.

Looking at the official website it quotes “Mustang Mania” so it seems to infer more than one, if not a mini gaggle of P-51’s. As you say though, no mention of the remaining PofF fleet in the display yet.ZenKusa wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 6:59 amJust a P-51 Flight? There's a good handful of Mustangs down in SoCal now. POF could send both of their D's with the A, PSAM just earlier today said they'll be at the show so that is likely 2 more. I'm not sure if Lady Alice is flying after the ground loop or not, but Jim Rust's 'Barbara Jean' in San Diego could attend as well. POF has a few other visiting Mustangs also.Tangoringo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 8:03 amLooking at the official website it quotes “Mustang Mania” so it seems to infer more than one, if not a mini gaggle of P-51’s. After a quick look at Mustangs Mustangs there must be half a dozen at Chino alone so they could muster a fair few. Tbh we’ve been a bit P-51 starved in the UK of late so seeing the Mustang Flight on the programme was an added bonus.

You guys used to have quite a few 51s down in the UK, Guess they moved around to other countries?Tangoringo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 10:42 am After a quick look at Mustangs Mustangs there must be half a dozen at Chino alone so they could muster a fair few.
