Long time since I last posted but I'm very much looking forward to this season. 16 shows currently listed as definites and another 6-7 possibilities.

I've got two aims this season. One, to give myself the best possible chance of catching a MiG-29 in Europe, given most will probably be gone by the 2024 season. And two, to see every single military jet aerobatic team from Europe and the Americas in a single season - all 9 of them that still survive. Currently 7 are accounted for in my current plans but I still need to track down Patrulla Aguila and the Midnight Hawks somewhere when they release their schedules.

Without listing everything, some highlights I've got lined up:
  • Jun 11: RAF Cosford Airshow, UK
  • Jun 15-16: Antidotum Airshow, Leszno, Poland
  • Jun 18: Manifestazione Aerea del Centenario del Aeronautica Militare, Pratica di Mare, Italy
  • Jul 11-17: Royal International Air Tattoo, Fairford, UK
  • Jul 23: Woodchurch Wings & Things, Ashford, UK
  • Aug 26-27: Radom Airshow, Poland
  • Sep 7-11: Air Legend, Paris - Villaroche, France
  • Oct 5-6: Fleet Week, San Francisco, USA
  • Oct 7-8: California International Airshow, Salinas, USA
The Leszno/Pratica di Mare weekend is particularly exciting. Probably my favourite airshow in the world on the Friday, followed by the Italian Air Force 100th anniversary on Sunday. The latter show is shaping up very nicely and looks set to go down as one of the most memorable airshows of the decade if all their plans come to fruition.

We live in the west San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, so my shows are all the SoCal favorites. Still kinda can't believe Blues and Thunderbirds together at Pt Mugu is happening.

I've been well out of the loop for a while now, so I'm not sure what happened to Planes of Fame. That was always such a standout event, so fun.

Dayton practice day

Maybe:

Thunder Over Michigan practice day

Doubtful:
