Just a small amend but this will be the AS555 Fennec helicopter, rather than the T-28. It sounds like it’ll be the intercept demo that they’ve flown at a few French shows in recent years.

Does anyone know where the show center for the airshow would be?

To the right of the VIP, so looking east.Maverick_Kenwei wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 1:41 am Does anyone know where the show center for the airshow would be?

Previous shows at Salon faced East, away from the runway.Maverick_Kenwei wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 10:35 amIt’s not gonna be over the runway?FlyRed wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 8:04 amTo the right of the VIP, so looking east.Maverick_Kenwei wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 1:41 am Does anyone know where the show center for the airshow would be?
There's still a (limited) view of the runway from the back of the spectator area, if you want it. But the light and scenery is nicer facing east.

Your guess is as good as anyone else's as they haven't had this exact site layout before. But yes, almost certainly something along those lines.Maverick_Kenwei wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 4:33 pmI could be wrong tho
My advice, given this is such a team-heavy show, is get as close to show centre as possible. The European display teams, and especially the Patrouille de France, use the B-axis and 45 degree lines much more than the American teams do, so being at show centre makes quite a big difference.

I'll keep that in mind because this week, I'll be performing there virtually on flight sim in my super hornet demonstration so I just want things to look realistic for my show. Thanks
