Organizers of the Hadi ShrinersFest in Evansville, Indiana announced today that they are canceling their planned 2015 airshow amid doubts that they could raise enough money to hold the airshow portion of the event. The US Navy Blue Angels were scheduled to appear and pushed the airshow budget to a reported $170,000. The Blue Angels were also forced to skip performances at the show in 2011 and 2013. The organizers say that ShrinersFest will go on, but that future plans will not include airshows even after 2015.
