The 2017 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Airshow and Convention will be here soon! As we approach the annual aviation celebration, AirshowStuff presents some of our highlights from previous AirVentures. First up, the 2013 airshow:

Our camera went airborne with Jerry “Jive” Kerby and his RV-8 known as “Wild Blue!” Watch as Jive loops and rolls in the skies over Oshkosh in our rear-facing camera video.

One of the best parts of Oshkosh is the variety of airplanes you can see. At the south end of the field is where you’ll find the ultralight and helicopter area. We sent a camera up in an Aerolight 103 Ultralight for a unique view of the Oshkosh grounds.

Oshkosh is well known for having unique airplanes and the 2013 airshow sure did! AirshowStuff sat down with Justin Lewis, pilot of the FLS Microjet, the world’s smallest jet. Watch to see this amazing aircraft in action, and hear about how it came to be and why it is so special!

We also had the opportunity to spend a few minutes with Matt Younkin, and learned about his family’s flying history and what he enjoys about flying the Twin Beech.

Here are a few more of our favorite videos from Oshkosh 2013!
