Unless they meant the X-37.sean0471 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 7:28 am Interesting,
The X-36 and X-40 no longer fly, with both being experimental testbeds. The X-40 is an unpowered glider that tested lifting bodies, with that being said the X-40 could fit in a trailer while the X-36 would need a very technical transport. So I'm going to guess it will be an X-40 on static.
I'd love to see the BONE back this year, one can only hope. Gonna be a great show regardless!

The amount of announcements and types of aircraft in those announcements is nothing short of incredible. I suppose for all you Oshkosh veterans it's nothing new but it's still exciting to hear.
Has the whole AFMC aspect been detailed? All I keep thinking is what's out at Edwards. I'm not expecting a B-21 Raider but I'd love to see the B-1 fly as it seems they have different rules to what they can do versus the active duty B-1s.
On average, how many P-51s usually show up at Oshkosh?

Around 15-20 every year. Most are regular attendees but you do get one or two that are debuts.
